I'm glad that I was told to come see this doctor after the one I had moved. Dr. Powers is absolutely wonderful. He cares about his staff and patients and it shows. I drive from Lakeland to the office in Clearwater and don't mind the waiting because Dr. Explain exactly what he see and what changes if any he recommends and make sure you understand the game plan to keep your eyes healthy as possible. Just one suggestion don't think you will be in and out in 15 minutes it's not likely to happen especially if you have questions. But you WON'T be disappointed.

Incredible care provided here! Dr Powers and his team have worked with me on appointment times that fit my schedule, are happy to answer all of my questions, help me work through insurance challenges and greet me by name each time I walk in. They are serious and knowledgeable about what they do, yet very kind in the process. Dr Powers is an impressive and attentive professional with a comforting demeanor. You are not just another patient in his care. You are a human being with a problem or concern he is determined to help you overcome. Good doctors are hard to come by. Don’t wast your time going elsewhere - get on his schedule.
