I think it's crazy how awful some of your employees truly are. Some are rude while others are plain out uncaring, unsympathetic, and way too opinionated on situations they have no understanding of. A lot of the nurses are incredibly kind, but I've met way too many that have disgusting attitudes and make it CLEAR that they have no want or reason to be there. Your receptionists are almost always the rudest, cutting people off in the middle of sentences on phone calls (GALE, GAYLE, however you spell her name) and care not at all for what you have to say, assuming they know that you're reasons for talking or calling aren't worth their time. I've spent HOURS in ER before, waiting for a doctor to care enough to make it to the hospital at night to handle my severe pain. A nurse from years back even treated me horribly for my suicide attempt at fourteen years old. A doctor even looked at my mom and I like we were stupid one time after a nighttime fainting episode I had accompanied by an extreme pain in my abdomen because she asked for them to run tests to make sure my medicine hadn't been causing it. In every area of this hospital I have been in for every visit, there has been someone who was rude, nasty, and uncaring towards me. This place needs to be evaluated for how they treat patients and family members, because this hospital truly sucks at it.

Good luck getting anyone to help over the phone, and the er doctors are known to be very rude, my personal experience in the er was not pleasant, i was made to feel stupid for following my doctors orders that the er doctor didn't agree with.

My fiancé came into the er on Monday. Was then admitted for observation. needless to say they couldn't find what was wrong. the night nursing staff on the floor he was on were very rude, unprofessional. Here it is 24 hours after discharge we are back at the er with different staff in the er today. Again they are very rude, not friendly at all. Dr. was in here for about 3 minutes and hasn't been back in. This place is a joke to be honest. It is a bandaid station. All they care about is sitting at the desk talking loudly about life outside of work and joke and cut up. Instead of going and checking on their patient. I'm not even going to start how they treated me.

I’m sure people have had bad experiences here, it’s a hospital. Let’s face it you aren’t going here for a spa day. I’ve never had a bad experience the nurses and doctors are all incredibly nice, helpful and informative. They have great bedside manner and to be honest some are overly attentive. I’ve had the occasional grumpy nurse from time to time but my gosh you have to remember they deal with things on a daily basis that most of us deal with only a few times in a lifetime. You may be calling them in as a patient they have come to care for has passed. Hospital staff are humans just like every one else. The other thing I find nice is they don’t run constant and unnecessary test and they don’t want to keep you admitted forever. They listen to you, if you feel like you are well enough to go home and they agree they don’t try to find ways to convince you to stay longer just for the money. Overall I highly recommend this hospital. If you are critical of course they know their limitations and get you as stable as possible and get you to a larger facility, don’t underestimate their capabilities by the size of the building. It’s the people and their dedication and determination that count.

Been sick and very fatigue for a week so I decided to come here to be checked me and my fiancé were sat in the waiting room and were the only ones there and had already been sitting for an hour 3 other people came in and were taken back right away and we were still waiting after two hours of waiting we decided to just leave and go to bonifay cause that was just ridiculous

This is an amazing hospital with very caring and generous staff! Nurses are amazing and highly skilled. Doctors are extremely diligent and do everything they can to find out what is going on and what to do to fix you up! I've been struggling with severe gastric problems and went to many different places but this hospital and staff went above and beyond to find me answers and get me better! God bless this wonderful place and staff. They are remodeling but all around fantastic people!

Husband went in with a horrible virus and couldn't stop throwing up. Dr. Patton (first name) was our doctor and Lynn was our nurse. They were both very helpful and attentive. Dr. Patton helped me wash out the barf bowl We were very appreciative of their bedside.
