“My parents were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary, and my mom’s one request was to finally have some updated photos with my dad. I wanted to make it extra special, so I booked her a hair and makeup appointment at Kristy’s Artistry, which happened to be right down the street from where the shoot would take place in Winter Park.

The studio itself was beautiful, and my mom and I were given a private suite for her appointment. The staff was so sweet, warm, and accommodating. Kristy herself did my mom’s hair and makeup, and she and her team truly treated my mom like it was her wedding day all over again. They celebrated her anniversary with genuine excitement, showered her with compliments, and encouraged her every step of the way.

My mom was absolutely glowing, not only because of the flawless hair and makeup, but because of the way she was cared for. The last time she had professional hair and makeup done was 12 years ago for my sister’s wedding, so this truly was a rare and special moment.

Kristy was a dream to work with. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly talented. She welcomed all of our questions about beauty and even went the extra mile by giving my mom a mini lip color consultation, perfectly matching her with three shades she could pick up later from Kristy's store.

Thanks to Kristy and her amazing team, my mom felt so beautiful, inside and out. I will never forget how they made both of us feel, loved, special, and celebrated. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!“

Every employee is super super kind and welcoming. They do not push upselling products which I like. I do buy the Aveda products but I don’t feel bullied into it. But when I tell you that Rose was wonderful she was wonderful.I will say that there was a wait as it was the Saturday before school started , but Rose was clear about it. Once she got to my son I was impressed with the service she provided. She was patient and was willing to do the style my son wanted. She is very personable and made my son feel very comfortable. I really appreciate her. I will say that my son’s hair previously did not last long in any style. But Rose did her thing his hair is still looking great after a full week of school.
