I took 6 months, reviewed 5 of the most reputable kitchen remodelers I could find, in Ft Myers and the Cape, and ultimately settled on Direct Cabinets. Owners Bill & Shahn were intimately involved in my quote. I had a partially formed vision of my new kitchen, with focus on removing walls and opening up my 51 year old kitchen/living room area, but never quite had it all. As a result, we started w cabinet selection, and wall demo, and left flooring, backsplash, countertop, hardware for later. A complete kitchen transformation! So happy!
Our kitchen remodel plan was a full renovation: it included tiling the entire house, and Direct Cabinets & More partnered with Direct Flooring for a seamless experience. (They are located in the same building.) We completely transformed the space by opening up the wall between the kitchen and the living room, dramatically increasing the natural light. We had cabinets installed on the back wall all the way to the ceiling. We leveled the island countertop and added additional cabinets under the waterfall countertop. Bill and his crew installed cabinets and were able to match the color to the existing cabinets. The granite countertop and design work were completed to our expectations. Bill is very easy to work with and went above and beyond ensuring the integrity of the finished product.
