Master Rego and the black belts just radiate kindness. I usually walk around the plaza with my youngest son during class time, and I always see kids getting one on one practice and training. My son has gained a lot of confidence since joining this dojo, and a better sense of discipline as well. Before joining Master Rego, we tried another jujitsu academy and for more than half of the class time they played dodgeball while the teacher sat on the sidelines on his phone. Jukido had been extremely beneficial to our 3 kids! Our kids did not need jujitsu for disciplinary reasons…quite the opposite, they are too nice and needed someone to teach them self defense. After every class our kids seem to learn something new and gain more confidence. We are very pleased with the instructors attention to each child’s different emotions and learning curve.
