It may sound boring to some people, but my patient's family has opened their hearts and their homes to me, so it rarely feels like work...it's more like I'm just taking care of a family member. No company is always perfect all the time, but I get a great deal of support from my Director of Nursing (DON), who I know will always have my back, and I get to make my own schedule.
