It offers classes in ballet and tap that children love, with teachers like Ms. Katie being patient and great with students. The environment is inclusive, making sure all kids feel supported, including those with different abilities. The studio went above and beyond to help a child in a wheelchair participate fully, demonstrating their thoughtfulness and dedication. The focus on age-appropriate dances and costumes, along with a strict zero-bullying policy, creates a safe, positive space where children feel encouraged and excited to learn. Communication is excellent, and the recitals are enjoyable experiences. The studio is also affordable, making it accessible for families with multiple children. Overall, Dancing for a Difference is a wonderful place where children love to dance, feel safe, and grow in confidence. I am not a dancer, I was actually an entertainer at one of their events, but I came here to say how incredibly kind and genuine every one of their teachers (even junior teachers) were when I met them this last weekend. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and what I loved the most was meeting the “OG” students who have been dancing there for 8,9, or 10 years and seeing their confidence and pride in their talents and skills! Talking to the students made me understand the importance of an organization like this even more than before. The experience is not even about me it's about my daughter reaction and every week she look forward to getting ready for her classes she do not like to be late and the community that's right there inside the lobby they are really great people and I do love the way the teacher Ms T care about her student they look like they are having so much fun that's really all that counts I love the community I am a newcomer but I love it
This was my first recital with Dancing for a Difference, I have seen videos and such on my feed from family and friend and it was lovely.
First, I just want to say it was an amazing show! The dancers were amazing and truly seemed like they were having fun. The songs and the dances were completely appropriate, and we love protecting our children. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and always down to help. Everyone had a smile on their face, and the decorations were beautiful! I also enjoyed everyone who greeted me, down to the two gentlemen who held the door open to the auditorium the entire time.
