Manatee Eye Clinic

I found my three experiences with Coastal Eye Institute to vary greatly based on the physician seen. Dr Shambursky was great. He took time to listen to my concerns and provided advice which brought resolution to the issue I was having. Dr Silverman saw my daughter who is blind and didn't listen to me at all prior to looking at her optic nerves using the light. He proceeded to freak out after seeing them. Very unprofessional. I will continue to go to Miami and Gainesville for her eye care.

I recently moved here from Philadelphia and chose this practice because of the excellent education of these doctors. I just had my first appointment and it could not have gone better. Everyone in reception was pleasant and helpful, and my wait time was about five minutes. I went to the Bradenton office, which was lovely and had plenty of parking. I saw Dr. Sambursky, who was trained at the world-renowned Wills Eye Hospital. (You can't ask for more!) He spent quite a bit of time talking to me about my family's eye-disease history, and I am very pleased with my decision to choose Coastal Eye Institute.

Coastal Eye Institute has been a lifesaver for my vision. I had a number of eye issues and instead of rushing me to surgery, they provided some medication and very expensive eyedrops (they told me which pharmacy to go to for the lowest price). They were hopeful over time the matter would resolve itself which it did. I also have cataracts but are not at the stage where they feel I need surgical removal. They have scheduled follow ups for me every 6 months and their staff are friendly and helpful. I'm very grateful for this practice and the care they have afforded me. My wife also uses their services and is very pleased with her outcomes also.
