I booked an appointment to see Michaela for the first time, and thought it would be fine since it was starting over the lunch hour, and then my boss, assuming I had nothing to do over the lunch hour, decided to have a super long meeting with me so I was FORTY minutes late. I felt so bad but she was very nice about it (not to say it’s ok to be late when people are nice about it because it’s not but it was nice not to be made to feel like a criminal as well). She listened thoroughly to what I wanted, checked with me about three times before doing anything, and was very clear with me about follow up care. I cannot say how thankful I am for Angie and her team of talented stylists! I went in today for some color correction after getting highlights at another salon that just weren’t quite right. Mercedes did an incredible job on a root blend and I’m SO grateful. I walked in feeling pretty self conscious and left feeling amazing. Not only did the actual service exceed my expectations, I brought my 6 month old (which is nerve-wracking in and of itself!) and they could not have been more accommodating or thoughtful. Angie even sat with my baby during my wash (which was so lovely, by the way…comfortable wash basin chairs DO exist!). The whole experience was truly above... read full review
