Jillian is truly amazing. We have a reactive 4 year old pit bull. In addition to the reactivity he came with, we were also attacked by a dog while on a walk not that long ago. We had been through so many training programs with minimal to no improvement. For the educators out there, we had essentially tried Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports. At this point, our dog needed a FBA (Functional Behavior Analysis) and BIP (Behavior Intervention Plan). Jillian is highly trained and so thorough. She listened to what worked and didn’t work with previous training programs and was able to break down why they weren’t effective for us and our dog. She did an incredible job at taking that information and using it to train us and our dog in a way that WORKED. Jillian was so helpful in building back our dog’s confidence as well as our own. If we had a set back while training at home, she was able talk us through what happened and how we could approach it differently the next time. The parent training aspect of her program truly is just as important as the dog training. She was patient and kind with all of us the entire time. You can tell Jillian truly loves animals and helping families have fun with their dog again. Our dog loved his time there and we did, too!
I cannot say enough great things about Jillian. She did such an amazing job with our dog Kylee. Kylee just turned two this month and is amazingly obedient, walks on a loose leash and knows to stay on place, greets visitors politely and behave in public. Kylee had some quirks and needed to be trained differently than most dogs…not to mention the struggle of training a puppy that is stubborn and almost 2 years old with bad habits…Jillian identified this all right away and used a different approach to teach Kylee how to be an amazing pup. Kylee now frequents restaurants and public places (that permit dogs of course) and is always on her best behavior. Jillian’s love of dogs and care for our baby girl and our family needs was unbelievable. She isn’t just an outstanding trainer, she is also an amazing human being. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a trainer for their pup.
