This was way out of my way but I was loyal to them because they seem to be very nice people I brought my dog in to get his dental work done and they told me to wait till February because they had a special or I guess they were trying to do all their dental work in February and by waiting till February now they want me to do extra blood work be careful of this place they come across very nice but they will work you for extra work that you don't need

I’ve been taking my dog to this vet for several years for vet services, boarding, and grooming. Very sweet doctors and staff! Hands down our favorite part of this vet is Ms Terry who I believe runs the kennel. Our anxious pup is very particular and Ms Terry goes out of her way to make her comfortable, sends us pictures when she’s boarding with them, and is so so kind. Our dog truly is happy when she is here - Something that never happened at other vets or boarding facilities! We are forever grateful for Ms. Terry!! 100/10 stars 🙏🏻

We are snowbirds and needed an emergency veterinarian. Even though we were not patients we were worked in and our Chihuahua was well taken care of. We will continue to use this clinic for all our pets anytime we are here. Great staff and clean environment.

We received outstanding care for our 10 yo Maltese, Daisy, from Dr. Catalina and her staff.
The problem was advanced dental/periodontal disease that had advanced to a draining submandibular fistula. While the fistula was noted by her usual DVM, a dental X-ray taken under anesthesia was incomplete and the diagnosis missed. A local surgeon who also evaluated her noted extensive molar decay, and suggested a specialized veterinary dental practice, the closest being an hour away.
Dr. Catalina’s name popped up on an online search as performing advanced dental care at the Animal Hospital of LWR located nearby. Further investigation showed that the operations she can perform are truly at specialty level, and we felt very comfortable proceeding. Daisy had her operation which lasted 4-5 hours and involved multiple extractions and bone grafting. As a physician, I’m able to read X-rays. Daisy’s showed near complete erosion of her mandible where the infection was. I believe Dr. Catalina genuinely has “great hands” as I can’t imagine how she was able to clean out the infection while keeping that fragile section of bone intact. Kudos also to her team who assisted and provided anesthesia in what must have been a crowded airway. Remarkably Daisy was able to come home the same day!
As an aside, we used non-anesthesia dental cleaning 3 times for Daisy over the years in addition to a couple of anesthesia based cleanings, and we regret making the non-anesthesia choice. There is no way an effective cleaning can be performed on an awake or even mildly sedated dog much less a set of full mouth X-rays. While more expensive, we now feel it’s in the pet’s best interest to have dental care done properly and on a regular basis.
It’s been several months since Daisy’s operation, and she’s healed beautifully! We’re grateful for the wonderful care we received from all at the Animal Hospital of LWR (including Jennifer at reception who is lovely and caring). More than 5 ⭐️ are appropriate for this facility! Thank you!
