My husband and I were just there for a week! We have never been to Ana Maria Island so we did not know what to expect. We absolutely loved the Silver Surf and everyone was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Rene in the office greeted us by name every morning. How she could remember everyone’s name was so sweet and welcoming!! We loved that the beach was right across the street and there were always lounges and an umbrella set up for us on the private beach. We had perfect weather every day…. High 80’s and sunshine ☀️!! A terrific place to stay at a reasonable cost for Anna Maria island! We just finished a two week stay for our anniversary, and have come here four or five times before. We love it here!
The rooms are fairly large and very well designed, with plenty of storage space for extended stays. The ground floor units are a bit cramped, partly because of the small kitchenette and small tables, but you can cook in the room instead of grilling or eating out . The shower is on the small side. The studio suites in the elevated buildings are somewhat larger and seem more spacious. The showers are also larger than in the ground floor units.
This is a Wonderful place, Julie and Renee made us so welcome and loved. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and customer focused. We also had the privilege to meet Angela the owner. We would thoroughly recommend this resort.
