I moved to Delray Beach 2 years ago and Dr. Posner was recommended to me by a breeder of Tibetan Terriers in the area. Horrifying Horror Horror Horror He gives medication without blood tests. He killed my beautiful little kitty. He sent her home and told me togive her a dose at each meal. She wasn't eating. I explained! Give it to her and wait for it to work. She died!

Stopped by to see if I could just change my 2 dogs over from another vet that’s further away. The door was locked even though I stopped by during opened hours (9:45am on a Tuesday). The receptionist gave me the finger to wait outside the door as she answered the phone to take a call. I just walked back to my car as I had to get ready for work and I didn’t know how long her phone call would take until she could at least open the office. She came out as I was pulling out and I told her that I was looking for a new vet for my 2 Australian shepherd (who were in the car) but they seemed too busy for new clients. Her response, “Well the vet is out on vacation for a week.” Well, I didn’t need a vet in a week…their next appt isn’t for 4 months, but since you clearly aren’t interested in 2 new clients then I’ll go elsewhere. Hire a new girl behind the desk that has better customer service & unlocks the door during opening hours.

Very good experience. Gave my dog a thorough examination, clipped her nails! and prescribed medication for her ear infection.Would definitely go back again.

I woke this morning with a heavy heart. But was compelled to write this review. A few months ago, my cat Nala was diagnosed with inoperable cancer/tumor on her bladder. It was deemed inoperable due to her age. She's 18 years old and as a pet owner. The best of the best one could ask for. Not happy with this diagnosis, I called West Ave Animal Hospital and scheduled a "second" opinion. From the first phone to the actual visit. This place is a first class operation. I'm so so glad that this place exists with its staff. After many, many more check ups a decision was made to put her down. Obviously not an easy decision. Now with Covid increasing, what were my options? Wait, Dr. Posner is willing to do a house call so Nala would not be stressed. Wow! In the face of Covid, is he really doing house calls? Yes... He came to my residence last night to end Nala's pain. Thank you to the entire Staff. You guys have been great.
