I am so very disappointed in this agency. The management is very unprofessional. I made arrangements with them to help with my 91 year old mother 3 days a week. I was promised to have the same individual. That did not happen. I had one woman on a Tuesday, and the next day a different woman showed up at my door at the wrong time! It would have been ok if I had been notified by the management, but that wasn’t the case. Then Guillermo contacted me on Friday to tell me that he found a permanent person for the 3 days, starting Tuesday. On Tuesday at 11, nobody showed up. I waited until 11:15 and called to find out where she was. I went through a call center and was told that Guillermo was busy on the phone and they would leave a message for him to call me back. I called back 4 times. It’s now 10:20pm and I have still not received a call back.I have never worked with a more unprofessional company. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I needed help to relieve my stress level and Seniors First/ Independence Home Care have just added to it. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!There is a reason why their fees are less than other agencies.

Mags and her team were wonderful. I arranged for someone to come in each morning and evening to help my parents. I live out of town and she made it so easy. My parents liked their caregivers and it was a huge sense of relief to know my parents were receiving the care they needed by a professional caregiver.

Senior First was recommended by the State of Florida Guardian website.. they are terrific. I have a 92 Year old retired Veteran whose dementia started declining rapidly . I contacted Mags and she sent a great assistant- Lee to organize my clients day and calmed him down. My client became so calm and pleasant again. The firm helped in getting the VA to approve the benefit for this Veteran . He is now able to stay in his home which he enjoys and can lead a happier life without being moved into an assisted living facility at this time. My client is taken out for lunch a couple times a week and goes grocery shopping occasionally. He has been afforded to enjoy his life while being taken care of in his home. He is calmer and has a better quality of life which is what is essential. I highly recommend the professional care from this agency and their care which is tailored to the client’ a needs.
