I have used International Watch and Clock Repairs for more than five years now for battery replacement on my Seiko watch - the service is fast, friendly, and done correctly - and at a very competitive price. About 3 weeks ago my 2 inch square clock stopped running. I changed
the battery and it started running; but the hands got stuck together. I brought it to a nearby watch repair place. The owner said the hands were worn out and sent me to a crafts store to buy new hands. The 3 hands in the 2 inch square clock were all under 2 inches and the store did not have any that size. I then scoured the internet to find the small clock hands that would fit the clock and could not find any. I even contacted a large clock repair and parts dealer in California. They would only sell me a whole clock movement, which I did not need.

I found Roy through Google search and was surprised to find his little shop upstairs behind a buzz in door above a bustling NY diamond district type establishment. Being my first time, I didn't know what to expect. I was bringing three 30-year-old or older Seiko watches to get looked at and hopefully get fixed or get batteries put in. When I got there I was the only one and they immediately took my watches and Roy looked at them and before I knew it, he came to the counter and he had already put in the batteries for two of them. I mean it was just that quick. I think it was $15 a battery for 2 of my watches. Unfortunately my favorite, the third watch had been destroyed...read full review
