From Gutterman Warheit Memorial Chapel
After the death of a loved one, you need time to grieve, to take in your loss and to reflect on their meaning in your life. In the Jewish faith, though, there are traditions to follow, which can demand your attention. In your time of loss, you want professionals who understand the unique rites and customs of your faith, who will treat you with sensitivity and fairness. At Gutterman’s & Gutterman Warheit, we have provided comprehensive funeral and memorial services to Jewish families for more than 130 years. We consider it a calling to work with individuals and families in times of bereavement. We have been family-owned and operated for generations, and have many employees who have spent decades, or even entire careers, with us.
Working with Gutterman's Funeral Home was an exceptional experience during a difficult time. Dennis and Kevin provided caring and supportive service, guiding us through the entire process from beginning to end. Their nurturing approach and attention to detail were truly appreciated. While I hope not to require their services again soon, I have complete confidence that when the time comes, Gutterman's Funeral Home will provide the same level of compassionate care and professionalism. Thank you, Dennis, Kevin, and the entire team, for your outstanding support.
This is not a review of their memorial services, but I would like to credit them with high grades for integrity. My father died in 2019 and we had all forgotten that he made premade funeral arrangements in Boca with them in 1986. Gutterman/Warheit became aware of this in in 2023 and contacted me so that they could send us a refund of his ( never used ) prepayment, which I have now received. That's the other end of the spectrum from mall gift cards that "expire" after a year!
Christine at Gutterman made a difficult situation more bearable. Her kindness extends beyond her empathetic words, she also guided us through the practical aspects of dealing with our unexpected loss. She took time to explain everything, more than once, because it was a difficult time for us, and she made sure to let us know every time, that Gutterman's was there for us and that for any reason, we could call and she would help. When you think that people these days aren't helpful or kind anymore, call Gutterman's and speak to Christine. There isn't a better Jewish Funeral Home in Florida. Probably not even in the country. Gutterman's is lucky Christine is associated with...read full review
