Alterations at Nordstrom

Always provide excellent service and superb craftsmanship. Their seamstresses know what they are doing. I altered several items there and always trust their judgement and work. The last item, a little black Givenchy dress, came out perfectly as always. Thank you and highly recommend.

I always have a good experience when getting my clothes altered at this Nordstrom. I have even made a special request where they alter my clothes the same day because I don't live that close to the store. They are not always able to accommodate this request but they do try their best and usually do this for me. I find their rates reasonable, especially because my first $100 of alterations are free per year, well pretty much free. A perk of having the Nordstrom credit card is that you get at least $100 worth of alterations per year. The amount depends on your level of card membership. This means if you pay $20 for an alteration, they give you that money back as a Nordstrom note which you can use like a gift card. I shop here enough where I am able to use the gift card that I received from paying for the alteration. For me, it is a draw. Even if I had to pay full price for the alterations, I would still come here. They even alter clothes that are not bought at Nordstrom. What they do not alter or fix are shoes even if they are bought at Nordstrom.
