Nice receptionists. Dr. Sweeney is personable and patient. As with most doctor appointments, arrive early and don't expect to get called on time (4:15 but not seen until 4:50), so not docking a star off the rating for that. Always try to get an early morning appointment!
I took my son and daughter to the Lakeland location and they were seen by Kristen Crumpton, Nurse Practitioner. What a wonderful experience! I can't say enough about how awesome Kristen was. She was thorough, informative, kind, funny and just all around, fantastic. No other dermatologist had ever informed me that my past medical history increased my children's exposure to skin cancer! What I loved was that Kristen was so deliberate about being proactive regarding getting prior authorization from the insurance company for my son's prescription--she didn't wait for the insurance company to ask for the authorization--she sent the authorization immediately,... read full review
