About JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa
The JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa provides beautiful and spacious rooms with stunning views of the golf course. Nearby attractions include Aventura mall, and the resort offers a pleasant environment for walking with sights of ducks, squirrels, and iguanas. The restaurants serve excellent cuisine, including a breakfast buffet and à la carte options. While the children's amenities are spectacular, some guests have noted issues with service. The housekeeping and pool staff have received praise for being friendly and professional. However, the front desk service has faced criticism, particularly regarding delays in room availability and responsiveness. Terrible, pool is arround 100. extremely over sold hotel them complaining about noises in room about cant you believed they send me security to my door with a warning then he said cops is included seriously only because my kid os playing at 9pmim on vacation no one complyng definetly never go back here again i dont recomended if u have kids u can go any place but not here.waist of money also very expensive
The hotel was great. Staff was friendly, clean rooms, and restaurants were wonderful. The only problem we had was the pool/ water park area. The hotel sells day passes to residents, so even if you’re staying at the resort that doesn’t guarantee you’ll have a place to sit at the pool. It’s entirely overcrowded, you’re fighting for chairs, service is so slow due to the amount of ppl, this really takes the fun out of vacation. For that reason we will not be back. This is the first time we’ve experienced this at a JW property.
I recently stayed at the Marriott and would like to sincerely thank the housekeeping and pool staff — Special thanks to Martin in particular _ they were friendly, professional, and consistently helpful during our stay.
However, I was very disappointed with the front desk service. Our room was not ready until 6:00 PM, which was well beyond the standard check-in time. I had requested a wake-up call, for my flight, but unfortunately, it was never made.
On the day of checkout, I attempted to contact the front desk multiple times between 4:10 and 5:00 AM, but no one answered. Traveling alone with two young children, I had to bring all our luggage down by myself,...read full review
