First - it's not a 2 or 3 month process to begin with. I wanna start with that. Set a real expectation, otherwise you'll get upset. Do it when you ready.
We talked to all 3 companies that doing lifting house in our area. Davie has the most experience and we did not feel like we are testing/learning subject like the other 2 companies. Communication was great to begin with and continues to be great. Ed came to our house with in a week and we got the estimate. The quote just includes lifting, you must get contractor to take over or get home owner permit. The company will work with you. The communication during the process was extremely helpful as we were not on site for most of the work. Notably Bruce from Davie consistently updated me on the progress which was very comforting knowing he was actively engaged. The back office team was very helpful as well and I took great comfort that I had chosen the right team to complete this project - very happy and appreciative of all their hardbwork.
I signed a contract to have my home elevated in October 2024. During this project, I had reached out to multiple site, supervisors for questions or updates on the progress, such as permitting surveys, and a start date of the project. Without success of getting a return call or text, I called the main office in Louisiana. I had the pleasure of talking to Miss Marie Taylor On numerous occasions. I would confide to her my questions and without fail, she would get the answers. She goes the extra mile to make you feel you are a valued customer.
