UPDATE: heard from Richie @ Arcadia Appliance after three (+) weeks. He had been ill and was hospitalized and was trying to catch up. I told him he needed to have a method to advise his customers. He was very apologetic and promised to come out the next day. He came out as promised and installed our ice maker. Did a great job and we are happy. Old review: Said he had to be paid in order to get the part. He deposited our check the next day. Going on 3 weeks - no response to our calls. His message box is full. Hope he's okay but this is NOT the way to treat your customers.

After a bad experience with DeSoto Appliance and repair with their claim of what was wrong with my Frigidaire washer, Richie was able to diagnose immediately and fix and it wasn't a 700 control panel as DeSoto appliance repair told me it was a water pump he fixed, reposition and leveled the washer for less than 400 including service call. Found this through my home warranty. They came. And found one of the problems right away. The later concern took a few more visits. But no extra charges and they finally got some new diagnostic equipment that said exactly what was wrong. Now, though months later and many trips later, our dishwasher works perfectly.
