Our family was assigned to Amedisys Home Health Care after my elderly mother suffered a mini-stroke, and the level of care we have received has been absolutely exceptional.
From the very beginning, communication was thorough and professional. Evelyn initiated contact with a highly detailed, welcoming voicemail introducing the company and advising us on setting up our initial evaluation. Had Amedisys Home Health Care visiting nurses and PT to help my adult son gain strength back after falling and fracturing his left hip and pelivis..the two PTs were fantastic, caring, informative and thourgh..they assesed my son, advised a plan that my son could work with and i could help him with. They gave us printouts of his exercises that he could follow on days they weren't there. My son is still following the exercises that his PTs gave him and continues to gain strength. I use the Amedisys in Orange City, Florida. I am more than happy with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs in home care, especially physical therapy, To start with,
when you call them they answer the phones with a live person who can immediately help you and answer all questions including those involving insurance. In addition, they accept most insurance plans.
Once we signed up they immediately followed up so care could begin right away. The therapists they provided are more than knowledgeable and did an absolutely fantastic job with my elderly
