Phone calls are answered by a live person who can immediately help and answer questions, including those involving insurance. They accept most insurance plans, and Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance usually cover the cost for eligible patients. Once signed up, they follow up immediately so care can begin right away. They keep their appointments and maintain constant communication. Therapists do an absolutely fantastic job, and patients look forward to seeing them. The team is described as terrific, genuine and trustworthy, making them a high-quality partner for in-home senior care. I use the Amedisys in Orange City, Florida. I am more than happy with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs in home care, especially physical therapy, To start with,
when you call them they answer the phones with a live person who can immediately help you and answer all questions including those involving insurance. In addition, they accept most insurance plans.
Once we signed up they immediately followed up so care could begin right away. The therapists they provided are more than knowledgeable and did an absolutely fantastic job with my elderly
aunt. She actually looked forward to seeing the therapist.

On 10/25/23 I was in the elevator at ORMC leaving after I had a Cardiac procedure and I was not feeling well. Kimberly Schwalbe was also in the elevator and observed my condition. She had no connection with my situation but she stopped what she was doing and sat with me in the lobby caring for me until I felt better. She went above and beyond to help me. More than the nurse that I had raised these issues with. She was a complete stranger and cared more for me. She gave me her card and asked me to let her know when I got home safely. What an amazing human being. I don’t know anything about this firm but if she is part of it I would not hesitate to use their services....read full review
