If you aren't worried about patient care, then this is the hospital that will meet your low standard. My night nurses were AMAZING! However my day nurse was absolutely terrible, completely clueless, and doesn't listen to patients nor the doctor. When expressing this to the head nurse, she simply dismissed my concerns. This nurse was clearly upset that I expressed these concerns and wrapped half my forearm with tape upon discharge. After discharge, I received a call trying to gaslight me like there was a misunderstanding. I want to be clear, there was no misunderstanding at all besides this nurse trying to rush me out and discharge me WITHOUT doing the test(s) that the doctors wanted to be done. Hopefully this review will allow future patients to make a better decision about where to recieve their care from, as I'm sure there will be no issue with receiving a hefty bill for absolutely nothing.

Attention Central Florida! Have you ever wished that your hospital stay would be treated with respect and that everyone involved goals were to listen to you, answer your questions and give you the best care possible? Advent Health Altamonte is highly recommended and the patient’s care comes first like it should be at every hospital. A sincere thank you to all the nurses, techs, cooks, ER, staff and doctors. Fourth floor nurses Zac, Lindsay were examples of perfect nurses and Internal Medicine’s Dr David Sukhai was very encouraging and helpful throughout the hospital stay. Thank you! Barry Vaught

Expect a long wait. Told to get here early after drinking a bunch of water for my third trimester sonogram and my appointment was 45 minutes ago. So waiting an hour and 15 minutes now with a full bladder.

Set an appointment on line for this morning with Dr Sasse . I got a call as I was on my way in that she was not take new patients. I told the person who called that I was not a new patient. They couldn't locate my records and basically acted like I was lying. I told her I was in pain and needed to see someone and I had already waited several days to get in to see Dr Sasse. She asked the doctor if she could see me. They said no to go to Centra Care. Horrible doctor horrible staff. Find a family doctor that actually cares. Also, the Advent website said she was taking new patients so get your act together if you are going to push people to use the website.

My three teens and I see different nurse practitioners here and I couldn't possibly exaggerate how wonderful they both are! We truly feel cared for. Kennie really understands what it's like to be a teenager today and focuses on the positive. Sunita feels like a true partner in my health. Just a great medical group.

Great office! Dr Sasse is my husband and I's PCP but lately because she has a very high patient volume (because she's really awesome) so if we need a quick appointment, we see the nurse practitioners. My husband loves nurse practitioner Kenny! He always feels Kenny is thorough, my husband is well informed and Kenny takes the time to explain whatever health situation is happening. I see nurse practitioner Sunita. She's awesome and very down to earth. She has even seen me for my annual well check. When Dr. Sasse is too busy to see either of us, we each have been booked same day appointments with the nurse practitioners! My husband even was even seen 45 mins out from his original phone call. Receptionist, sign in and sign outs, are the sweetest and very welcoming. I highly recommend this office!

I humbly come back to update my review. I found out that they were going through some sort of system update in the hospital and the training meant staffing was low during this. It was unfortunate for us as patients but I definitely see the change that was made. I think if we were made aware of what was going on it could've made things a little better but just being told I couldn't see my doctor for a month out when something severe was going on like asthma, it was very frustrating. However things are now back to normal and usually I have no problem what so ever being "worked in" even. I've been coming here since I was 4 years old and I have had no plans of changing. Glad I stuck around. Dr. Sasse and Fannie are amazing. All of the girls up front, Ada, and even Rodriguez has become a great part of my health and life. Thank you so much Newman family medicine for taking care of me for all of these years.

Dr sasse and dr merriweather have both been wonderful. He staff are very friendly, efficient and never rude. I like hat there is also valet parking. Test results are given in a timely manner, really if you need a family practice office for the bumps and bruises of life I recommend this office.

My husband and I both use this practice. We have found the staff is always friendly and helpful. It is easy to get an appointment, with either a doctor or a physician's assistant, and both are good.
