When I needed help looking after my husband while I took an eight day trip, our case manager suggested Visiting Angels. After meeting with the sales director and talking with the Visiting Angels care manager, I felt comfortable leaving for my trip and confident that my husband would be well taken care of. The suggestions and guidlines I received were immensely useful in helping me prepare my home for the time that I planned to be away. As it turned out, all went smoothly, and my husband was pleased with the services and care he received. I highly recommend Visiting Angels for any type of home care!
Visiting Angels in Wilmington has exceptional service. My neighbor was in a crisis with her mother in the hospital. The Director answered her call for help with care and concern, answering all her questions. When ready, she was given a lovely caregiver who took care of her mother as well as herself. It was such a relief! The schedule was perfect and the care managers were very accommodating. I would highly recommend Visiting Angels to anyone I may know in need.
We have been very happy with Visiting Angels on the whole. My mother, aged 87 has a daily visit from her "Angel" and is quite fond of her. She takes very good care of my mom. There are occasionally some hiccoughs with administrative stuff: missed messages, scheduling snafus - but the the office is quick to fix and work with us whenever there's an issue. We are especially grateful in these days of pandemic - her Angel is very careful, wearing gloves and cleaning fastidiously. The VA are giving my mom something she really wants in her twilight years - the ability to stay in her home for as long as it is possible.
