DSI Security was founded in 1969, when Sheriff A.B. Clark realized a need for private security at the construction site of the Farley Nuclear plant in Columbia, Alabama. In 2019, DSI celebrated 50 years of serving clients in the security industry, and has grown to cover 33 states with 24 branch offices. The Clark family still owns the business, and is a WBENC woman-owned business led by President Marsha Clark. Her husband, Alan, is Chairman of the Board, and their sons, Boyd and Deavours, are the National Sales and Marketing Director and the Regional Manager, respectively. The Clark family remains passionate about serving DSI clients with integrity and honoring the company motto, DWYSYWD, which stands for Do What You Say You Will Do.
