Omigod -- My wife and I just got accepted by a Lewes area top, experienced dentist with a stellar reputation! We were told we would have to go to Maryland, Virginia or NY to get into such an office. When we arrived here three years ago, Lewes was a dental wasteland. What dentists there were were so oversubscribed they were going home every night exhausted and angry. Yesterday I experienced my first appointment with Maplewood Dental. I was so thrilled I did a little dance in the parking lot. I just moved to the area and did not have a dentist yet. I had an emergency. Dr. Smith took me in right away. Her knowledge and expertise were what I needed. The equipment is up to date. I was relaxed and felt I was in good hands.

My experience couldn’t have been better. My hygienist Alex was wonderful and patient. Dr. Townsend is the best. Although a visit to the dentist isn’t something most people look forward to, mine was very pleasant.
