Took my young son here for the first time — he was initially nervous about getting his hair cut, but Ed was great with him and made him feel so comfortable! We were very pleased with the haircut and the shop was clean, the barbers and customers were friendly. Fair pricing. I’d recommend Newark Barber Shop to anyone!

I received my first of what should be many haircuts. Ed is a very good barber. He did a fabulous job. Good conversation and nice atmosphere. He seems very confident in his fantasy football abilities but he hasn't met the Evil Empire yet.

Hands down 2 of the most talented barbers I have ever met! The way my hair grows I never find anyone who truly cut my hair the way that suited me, but every time I go here at the end when he spins me around and says (How’s that look for you?) INSTANT SMILE ON MY FACE! Perfection is an understatement. Ed is my barber but Glen is great also. These 2 are from an era gone by, when your job was your craft and you put your all into it! I live an hour away but still go here!
