Always a solid place to shop for clothing, shoes, and household items. They have a good selection, reasonable prices, and I’ve had good experiences here. A dependable department store that’s worth stopping in when I’m shopping.

Store was clearly going thru some changes. All/most clearance is upstairs and very very unorganized. But I did see employees trying to get it in some sorry of organization. I think it was/is an impossible task!
Beauty area was great! I got a new foundation to try and some new makeup brushes on sale
Also on sale was a cute key chain that had a chapstick holder and little mirror. Hope it works like it's supposed to !
Overall, good trip. I did dig around the men's clearance and got quite a few things for my hubby and son. Debating if I hide till Christmas or not. Got a large amount so hiding might be hard.

JCPenney seems to be struggling trying to keep up the pace with emerging changes around and elsewhere. Online shopping is forcing physical stores to evolve and the differentiator is great service at physical stores. JCPenney needs to understand the importance of customer experience and focus on their strength rather weakness. Every small gesture during visit, lighting, music, hygiene, organized aisles, neatness helpful staff goes very long way. Being in business for 125 years, I'm sure they'll bring back the core of consumer experience!!!
