My grandparents moved into the Atrium last year. They had been looking to downsize and find somewhere they could live without all of the upkeep. Their problem had been that places in the area were either out of their budget or not up to their standards. Finding the Atrium was a blessing! They could afford it, stay close to the community they have so many ties to, and not sacrifice their standards. I have been to visit with my three young children, and everyone there, staff and residents, were very friendly and welcoming. It has been the ideal option for them to maintain a level of independence while greatly reducing the workload that typically comes with it.
The Atrium has been home to our mom for nearly 7 years, and she is very attached to it!
Kelly has been a very nice new addition to the staff, with her warm and welcoming countenance. Tiya and Katie have been such fabulous care givers in the meals and activities departments! While resident friends who've been such a blessing have come and gone, the consistency of Tiya and Katie has been a huge blessing to Mom! Also, Sheila taking such care of the apartments, and doing the little things that bless the resident in their own space is a huge blessing as well.

Well where do I start.. I am so grateful to have found this new home for my Mom. It's like a breath of fresh air. The nurses actually follow protocol, and are on top of their duties. They are pleasant, and go out of there way to make sure the patient feels at home. When they are challenged, they exhibit patience. They clean the rooms, and empty trash daily. They actually do there jobs! It's a smaller facility compared to other facilities, which allows them to pay more attention to the patients. When you walk in you don't have the urine smell hit you in the face, and it continues to smell good throughout the building. I could go on and on... where my Mother... read full review
