I am associated with Aikido since 27 years and trained with different school of Aikido. But being associated with Shihan Okimura and ADA family since10 years is an experience beyond words. This school or Shihan's style of aikido is to compliment our earthly existence. Unlike any other Dojo you will not be exhausted physically but yes the impression these classes conducted by Soofie Sensei and Shihan would make you think for months or years for that matter. "I love ADA! First time I visited the dojo in 2009 and right away I knew that this place is special. ADA is the Headquarters of WAAI and Okimura Shihan. Today I know how inspiring it is to watch Shihan’s movements and I am thankful to have the privilege to be his student. Shihan’s Lineage is incredible - his family is connected to the Ueshiba family and he is student of Kisshomaru Doshu. ADA has also many yudansha with dozens of years of experience in AIKIDO. The dojo has a wonderful environment among the chief instructor Zohreh Sensei and assisting instructors as well as all members. My daughter has been attending the kid's classes for 3 years now, and my husband also attends classes. We are part of an amazing family - they really get to know allthe members to make them feel at home.
