Such a welcoming, positive community and Joe is a great teacher! I started Salsa 1 with no experience and now look forward to Salsa 1 & 2 and Bachata every Wednesday night! Everyone is there to learn and have fun - the perfect place to try something new!

I have long had an interest in learning to dance, but didn't know where to begin. I heard about Take the Lead and saw they had a drop-in option for a class at a super affordable price ($20). I took a chance and am so glad I did. What a welcoming community of people! The classes are so well run and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and committed to helping their students learn and feel comfortable. If you are all in like me, be sure to ask about socials and other community events (although they are great about announcing upcoming things after class) to immerse yourself in the local dance scene. a few years ago, my hubby and i took Salsa dance lessons. While i'm familiar with the dance, i wanted him to have the experience. We both enjoyed it immensely however, after awhile, hubby didn't want to go into the advanced lessons. I eventually stopped coming but the experience was fantastic!! the instructors were all very nice and their social hour dances were fun. I'd recommend this studio for singles or couples, or even groups. You WILL learn!!
