These guys did a great job building my shop at every step of the build. Frank did a good job at helping design the building and offering a bunch of options for the shop. They also gave the best price out of 3 estimates. I would recommend these guys if you're looking for a pole building.

I called just about every pole building contractor on Delmarva last summer to start the process to build a pole building. Some never responded, some responded with very unreasonable estimates, and one gave me multiple quotes based on quality of materials. Pole Buildings Unlimited however responded within hours of me sending a solicitation email and had me a preliminary quote in less than 2 days. Their staff worked with me to ensure I got exactly what I needed. It took some time for permitting but they took care of the whole process. I had finally landed on a 40x32x12 building with a second story and a 8x40 covered finished porch. When it came time to build, the site manger showed up and we went over the site and any additional needs prior to starting. Around November the first posts went up and I was impressed with how fast the framing went. The framing went up and it was enclosed fairly quick, around the end of November. Pole Buildings Unlimited even worked with me to make a few custom changes in the building process to better fit my needs. It took some time to get the concrete poured because of the winter weather. In all the build was completed fully by April. As good as they were, communication was a bit of an issue. I took it upon myself to talk to each contractor that showed up to ask what their schedule looked like to be working on site. Sometimes I would be surprised with a door knock on my residence early in the morning by contractors showing up to do work. I did however take it upon myself to clean the dust from the saw cut joints from the concrete and swept up the inside trash as no one showed up to complete that task for several weeks. I also consolidated the leftover pile of scraps left in my driveway from framing and metal work from the fall for them to collect. Prior to the trash being collected or a final walkthrough, I received a bill for final payment. I did call and ask if there would be final walkthrough as the trash still wasn’t collected and some finishes weren’t complete. It took about about a month to compete everything after that. The building is constructed well, some of the wood isn’t perfect but that’s the quality of lumber these days. The metal work looks great. The concrete is ok, it hasn’t cracked but in one place and some of the finish work is a little sloppy. During the final inspection I did note that there was imperfections in the concrete where a contractor and walked on wet concrete and drug something leaving cratches and footprints on the finish near some of the posts. The majority of the porch is covered and because the area was muddy during the winter the concrete had some muddy boot prints from the construction left on it. I finally got a chance to wash the concrete from the construction process only to discover that there are light impressions of footprints in the concrete. Other than than the concrete work I’m happy with the build. I have build a home and a pole building in the past year and have been let down with the final product of the concrete. I’d use them again however I’d make sure I would be around to know what’s going
