This year I had to deal with flooding caused by a retention pond that drains into my creek. New Castle County had a sub contractor "Penny Hill Lawn & Landscape" come out help with the problem PHL&L had two men set stones in the creek. They worked for a week carrying down a slope and hand setting them so the water would not destroy the creek bank. With the two major storms their system worked perfectly. Hat's off to these fine gentlemen.My second encounter was a snow plowing contract for 2023/2024. Chris set Kingston Acres Civic Association up with a very good contract. Very easy to deal with.This past Friday one of their trucks with a great driver named Steve showed up. He had never been on our street and a came down the street very slowly . I met him and we talked about how he wanted to do it. Again professionalism showed with him and PHL&L .I will continue to use them for all my and the civic associations needs.NHM
