Last year, I started treatment with Dr. Gaitan after a bad fall resulted in debilitating sciatica pain down my thigh that made walking very painful. After a few months, my improvement was noticeable and I decided against an epidural shot and (worse!) surgery. The pain has disappeared and I am back to daily 5 mile walks. I am now in maintenance treatment, to keep my spine properly aligned. This is the second time in my life that chiropractic treatment has solved lower back issues. If you have lower back problems, I highly recommend Dr. Gaitan. He is an accomplished chiropractor with excellent doctor-patient interaction skills. After years of continued pain while seeing another local chiro, I switched to Washington Spine & Disc a couple of months ago. I submitted an online appointment request and they called me within 5 minutes. The office staff there is always genuinely welcoming, attentive, and kind.
Dr G's evaluation was incredibly thorough. He examined my spine and neck inch by inch. He asked questions about my pain and experiences. He helped me understand what my issue has been, and gave me hope that things could be better...I hadn't had that hope for quite a while.

Dr. Gaitan patiently and skillfully healed my back injury over the course of 10 months. During that time he prescribed an effective combination of therapies as well as made sure I received the correct diagnosis via an MRI. He is thorough, skilled, kind, and fun to talk with. His knowledge is beyond reproach. The staff are delightful and go to the trouble of remembering who you are by name. It is always a pleasure going for treatment. I recommend this practice unconditionally.
