Waldorf Astoria Spa - An Astorianomical Spa Experience
I love the Waldorf Astoria Spa. Most spas are judged mainly by ambiance, but the Waldorf’s spa excels in service first. I am a regular customer of MT Alison for the 120-minute muscle recovery massage. On my most recent visit, I had severe lower back and hip pain. MT Alison skillfully probed to understand my concerns and needs. She let me help customize my experience by choosing my preferred topical scent, deciding whether to heat the table, and selecting the most comfortable position for my head. I had a phenomenal facial with Natasha! She was so kind and knowledgeable about skin types. She made the entire experience that much more pleasant. The welcome staff at the spa reception was also very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 experience. I’d definitely return!
I love this spa! The reason I can’t give it five stars is because my favorite thing to do is the Luxe day pass. However, I don’t think you should call it a day pass when it’s only for three hours. Additionally, my salt room experience was marred because the lighting was not working properly. Otherwise, I adore the relaxation area, with its cozy cubbies and water fountain.
