A regenerating facial to start the day and weekend - super lovely spa facilities with great amenities (shower, steam, and sauna) and a very comfortable experience. The spa area itself is light and bright and the treatment room was very comfortable. Left feeling refreshed! The facial was a little less medical-grade than some other spas but very relaxing.

My cherry blossom massage at the Four Seasons was lovely! Just like the other FS spas I’ve visited around the country, the facilities are always being cleaned and the snacks and drink options were super tasty! I’d love if they added energy bites/balls too. The employee Ashley was super sweet and gave me a tour. I did get the hot stone add on and I got slightly burned on one of my legs. This is two days later and it’s thankfully healing up well since it’s flaking now (i use a lot of body creams) so the rocks probably should warmed to a slightly lower temperature so you don’t burn others.

I had an exceptional experience with Tamba at The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. From the moment we began, he took the time to ask about my specific needs and really listened to the challenges I was experiencing. He then focused his attention exactly where it was needed, with incredible skill and care. This was truly the best massage I’ve ever had. After my session, I felt completely relaxed and, for the rest of the day, pain-free—something I can’t say lightly. I can’t thank Tamba enough for such a thoughtful, effective, and restorative experience. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-tier massage

We have lived in DC on and off for the past 19 years and the Four Seasons is where I go when I want a top notch spa experience. I visited today with my mom for massages and facials.
Both of us left our massages very disappointed — the experience felt robotic and very uneven. The masseuse rubbed one foot for a full five minutes and then rubbed the other foot for one minute, pulled her hands off like she was touching something hot and said, that’s it you’re done. I was in the massage room for exactly 51 minutes and that included the time to get under the blanket and get up and dressed. Honestly if this was my first ever massage, I’d never get another massage. When I saw my mom, she said the same thing - totally mechanical, uneven, and uninterested. We both told our masseuses about specific injuries and both of them ignored our instructions. My frozen shoulder is in severe pain five hours after the massage. I’ve had better experiences for half the price. I was honestly shocked by the experience since I have had some of the best massages of my life at this Four Seasons.
The facials on the other hand were outstanding- so much massage, heat applied thoughtfully, listened to my concerns. We both left looking less tired and very refreshed. The facials saved the day. I loved the eastern touches - a series of gongs played around me, connecting with my energy. It was new for the FS but I really liked this part. It was not the classic euro facial I had previously.
The facilities were the usual great Four Seasons experience- sauna, steam room, giant robes, calm lounge.

I booked a massage service and came to this spa to enjoy the amenities. Although I loved the selection of amenities and the indoor pool area, my massage was terrible.
I told him that my focus areas were my upper back, neck, and shoulders, and he did not focus on those areas at all. Not only did he mainly focus on my legs and feet (which is odd), but he gave very little time for my neck and shoulders. I also asked for a medium pressure and do not feel as if I received that. During the massage, I asked for the heavier pressure when his pressure was not meeting my first request. I get massages once a month to help with muscle tension/pain. However, I left this experience with no relief.

I would not return here again for a massage.
