I don't know how people survived babies before places like BFC existed. Everyone here is knowledgeable, welcoming, kind, and able to answer every baby and feeding question I've had. Covered by insurance, in person and telehealth options, and I've never had to wait more than a day to get an appointment (except when I want a specific IBCLC).
I had an amazing and truly life changing experience with Dominique Barrett at this center. She did a home visit after the birth of my 2nd and truly turned things around for me. After my first it was difficult to breastfeed and after this one I was going down the same path and had ptsd. She provided excellent feedback and corrective advice that made a huge difference. Now it’s totally painfree and I’m on way to being an exclusive feeder!
I had a wonderful experience with my prenatal lactation consultation with Isabela. She cleared up a lot of confusion I had from getting conflicting advice on infant feeding, sleep, and schedules, and answered all my questions. Getting personalized help was invaluable, and I now feel much more confident about breastfeeding my baby. The Breastfeeding Center is a great resource.
