I used Stewart Funeral Home, DC, in May 2025 for services for my husband and from the initial visit (reception) to the last, which was to pick up the death certificates, I have only positive things to report. The staff with whom I interacted--Mr. Lewis, Ms. Jackson, Ms. Rush, and Mr. Bowman--treated me with utmost respect, showed compassion, and were knowledgeable and capable in their respective roles. (I took note that the staff worked as a team.) Whenever I contacted the FH by telephone for any reason, I always received a pleasant greeting and felt valued. My husband and I had the privilege of serving a grieving family from our church at Stewart’s recently, we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. The facilities were clean and well appointed, we were welcomed warmly. The funeral director Mr. Bowman was so attentive, cordial, sensitive and professional. I highly recommend Stewart Funeral Home and Mr. Bowman.
