So glad I found this place. It reminds me of a NYC barbershop, where there used to be one in every neighborhood. I believe Alex was my barber and I got a great scissor cut. They can handle all styles expertly. Remember to bring cash; no credit cards taken.

I’ve been coming here for haircuts since I moved to DC in 2017 and they’ve always done a great job! I usually get a short cut on the back & sides and some length taken off the top — each barber has a slightly different way of cutting but I’m always happy with the result. Its a business that has been in the city since the 60s and each barber has been cutting hair here for 20+ years! It’s a cash-only place and a standard cut is $40 now, which has increased over the last 3-4 years but it’s understandable why due to inflation and in-office workers declining since COVID. Not a usual yelp reviewer but wanted to give these guys credit. My first summer in DC so I was pretty scared of getting my hair cut, but showed them a picture and got exactly what I asked for. I wish I remembered the guys name specifically, but he killed it. Great atmosphere, very friendly people.
