Not a usual yelp reviewer but wanted to give these guys credit. My first summer in DC so I was pretty scared of getting my hair cut, but showed them a picture and got exactly what I asked for. I wish I remembered the guys name specifically, but he killed it. Great atmosphere, very friendly people.

Big picture: Enjoyed my haircut with Tony! He is very skilled and gave me what I was expecting after I showed him a picture. Very reasonable haircut price ($35 cash only in October 2023, not including tip). Good Morning America was playing on the TV in the background.More details: Tony is a good man who has worked in this area for decades. I appreciated hearing pieces of his story. I look forward to visiting again soon!Accessibility: there are stairs to walk down to access the front door. I’m unsure if there’s another way to access the store for those with mobility challenges.

This is my go-to spot for haircuts in DC. It’s less expensive than the place I go to at home in Chicago, usually $45 ($35 haircut plus $10 tip) and the barber never rushes the appointment! I am always happy with how my haircut turns out. Remember that they are cash only, but there is an ATM nearby! Would recommend!Services: Shampoo & conditioning
