Even if you have a favorite spot in DC, I would recommend making an effort to go to Puglisi. It's cash only and there are ATMs nearby.
This is the best place. The barbers are incredibly skilled and personable. Amazingly, they haven't raised their prices since I was at GW, and a cut is still only $40. Thrilled that they have maintained their quality.
So glad I found this place. It reminds me of a NYC barbershop, where there used to be one in every neighborhood. I believe Alex was my barber and I got a great scissor cut. They can handle all styles expertly. Remember to bring cash; no credit cards taken.
