I brought my vintage 1960s Brooks leather police motorcycle jacket to The Cobbler Bench in downtown DC after not wearing it for nearly 25 years. The leather had become extremely dry and rigid, the edges were drying out, and some areas were getting dangerously close to cracking and tearing. The zipper also needed to be completely replaced.
