I popped into this store the other day to tighten my glasses. This has become my favorite glasses brand. They are pricey but are such high quality. They are so thin and lightweight I usually forget I'm wearing them. I have had the same pair for about two years and they look fabulous still. The store in Georgetown is like a third of the size of the one in Los Angeles. Parking even on a weekday is very tricky because they have have taken up a bunch of parking spots to widen the sidewalks for better social distancing.

Can't say enough superlative things about Mykita. Great eyeglass frames but more importantly the staff is incredible. Rouby has helped me so many times and is always cheerful and a downright pleasure to work with. Not cheap but a great example of 'you get what you pay for'. Have lost a pair or two which made me cry, but Rouby has always come through in ordering a new pair of very quickly. Hats off to Mykita and Rouby

My glasses broke, and I purchased new frames in the same model. Neither pair were purchased at Mykita, but when I went in today -- a fairly busy Saturday -- the person behind the counter gladly helped me swap my lenses to the new frames. He took great care, and wouldn't accept any payment for the service. I was really impressed. I've never shopped in this store before, but when I'm looking for my next pair of glasses, Mykita will be on my list of brands to look at.
