Very friendly and accommodating customer service. I drove for nearly 40 minutes to explore the museum. And even though they were supposed to close, they were willing to let me inside. I enjoyed exploring this museum a lot and look forward to coming back.

So welcoming! I wanted to come here for my birthday and I couldn't make it on the first night of my stay in DC but on the second day, I've made it! I was tired from a day of soghtseeing and going to the zoo but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was! I was so happy my party made it in time for the tour! I'm visually-impaired so I don't know what I would have done without it! It was the best tour I can remember! It was an interactive and vivid experience! I looked at the virutal museum on the website a month ago in advance and knew what to expect but the exhibition in the back had rotated and it was fun to see new works! So worthwhile! This museum is so beautifully curated. I learned so much about Palestinian history, thanks to our tour guide! Some things to look forward to during your visit: a sip of sage tea, learning about the distinct embroidery (tatreez) styles of each city, the importance of olives and oranges, resistance art, photos of Palestinian joy, a look into what the Palestinian diaspora is up to, historical and present-day look into the slow but sure ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, which we must advocate against. A must visit if you're in town.

From Museum of the Palestinian People

Immigrants to the United States yearn for a space to tell their stories, yet for Palestinians there has been no such space. In fact, who we are has been told by others; until now. The Museum of the Palestinian People is here to tell our stories; stories that encompass the rich history, vibrant arts and culture, of a people who thrive even in the face of adversity.
