I’ve been going to Mora for Japanese straightening for 7+ years, and she’s the best. After she does the Liscio process, my hair is smoother and looks so much healthier. Best of all, it takes much less time to style.I highly recommend Mora—she’s got lots of experience and takes her time to make sure your hair looks great.

This is an updated review: I still go to Mora every 5-6 months for touch ups over the last few years. I love how my hair is thriving with this method. My hair is the longest and prettiest it's ever been and hair is so easy to manage! My edges are filled in now. I'm still working on more thickness (I have naturally fine 4c textured hair) but it's gotten so much fuller over the years. In between visits, I keep my hair in a protective style and my hair continues to thrive. If you like a straight and sleek look, and low maintenance hair, definitely see Mora and get the thermal reconditioning done! You won't regret it!

Mora is highly skilled at Japanese hair straightening. Over more than ten years, she has used this process to straighten my hair perfectly at least 20 times, trimmed my hair and touched up the color. I could not be happier with a hairdresser. There are many steps to Japanese hair straightening if done properly. Mora takes no shortcuts, has a wonderful technique, and uses only the best products. The result is beautiful, straight hair. During the Covid pandemic, I have also been impressed with how Mora has consistently followed the recommended protocol for salons. Always by appointment and with masks. Mora truly cares about her clients.
