Moved to DC from NY and asked around for recommendations. Friend said to see Lyonel at Izzy. He gave an excellent cut and was great to talk with too. Good service, stylish salon and quality haircut from Lyonel. Will go back.Service: Haircut

I only have positive talking points about my experience with Izzy. Lyo was a joy to work with and I can say with utmost confidence that he is the first person to have ever understood my hair texture, and, as such, gave it the appropriate hair cut (and an excellent one at that!). Beyond that he was exceedingly kind, empathetic, and displayed the sort of "bedside manner" one should expect from a really good doctor. I also received the BEST scalp massage from the wonderful hairwasher--literally gave me goosebumps. Run, don't walk, to Izzy!

I am writing this review to express my absolute joy after my experience at Izzy Salon! I went in after having my hair appointment at another salon cancel last minute right before my birthday, after a month at home post-surgery with awfully stained blonde hair (that was my own doing after self-dying hot pink….). All I wanted for my birthday was to go back bright blonde and Claudia a Izzy was so straight forward and kind about how to make that happen. She special ordered a product to remove the pink build up in my hair, made a last minute appointment for me to come in on my birthday, and did a phenomenal job.
