Upper endoscopy never fun but the Medstar crew -- Lisa, Diane, Lindsay, Debbie, Cherie, and of course Dr Frank, hope I got everyone -- did a great job in guiding me through the procedure, in dealing with the all the preparations and tests, and managing the effects.
Everything was seamless. Check in was easy and I was called back quickly. I did begin to have a bit of a panic attack and a very kind nurse grabbed my hand and helped me calm down until the meds began to take effect. The doctors and nurses introduced themselves prior to the procedure and were very kind post op. They called the day after the procedure to check on me and made sure that I knew what to do if I were to start feeling poorly.
Awesome staff and doctors! Great professional experience. Very tender and great from the initial consult to the surgery, post-surgery bedside and Physical Therapy protocol. Dr Svoboda and Lisa Schreiber were awesome.
