I’m shy about visiting salons, but the warm and friendly staff here always treat me and my locs wonderfully. The hair washing is a spa like experience and the products smell heavenly. During the past few years, I’ve had my locs trimmed, repaired, retwisted and styled by Loc Lov. I’ve also had my locs colored here (back when they were located on H street). It’s nice having this salon as my go-to for all things loc related.
This was my first time booking with Zee and the experience was 10/10 from the moment I walked in. First, Charles did an amazing job washing my hair. It was hands down the best wash I’ve ever had. By the time I got in Zee’s chair I was already feeling relaxed. See herself was kind, knowledgeable, and very skilled. She took her time to evaluate the condition of my hair, recommended a few things, and answered the many questions I asked her. She helped pick out the perfect style for an upcoming photo shoot and ensured I was happy with the style before I left. I can't book an appointment to save my life. I just got booked for the first time in months and they just canceled my appointment bec they don't have time to fit me in and aren't able to reschedule me for an open slot.... Im gonna have to miss a wedding because I can't make this hair appointment.
