In 2019, while residing in France, I experienced a life-altering event when I was bitten by a tick. Despite promptly removing the tick myself, I could not avoid becoming chronically ill. Unfortunately, the medical professionals I consulted initially did not believe that I had contracted Lyme disease, repeatedly denying and dismissing my condition. It was not until four months after the tick bite that I was finally prescribed an appropriate course of antibiotics. Since that bite, my life changed drastically. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Ignore the nay-sayers, Dr Jemsek and his clinicians are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease. They were the first to actually listen to me, care about how my symptoms were negatively affecting my life and care about working to get me better. Dr. Jemsek, Rachel and Kim have worked tirelessly with me and so many other patients, they don't give up on us!
