Got a haircut with Melek and had a great experience! She was so friendly, took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and made sure I was happy with the final result. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Love it here. I discovered this salon when I was desperate to find a last minute appointment for my daughter when her original appointment at Drybar Georgetown wasn’t honored. They were so kind and helpful and were able to squeeze her in almost immediately. Her hair looked amazing and she left grinning from ear to ear.

Today, I got my hair done by Melek and it was a wonderful experience. She was so kind and also so knowledgeable about my hair. She gave me a lot of advice on how to properly care for my hair in between appointments which was highly appreciated. We chatted the whole time like we had been friends forever. I cannot possibly recommend Illusions of Georgetown enough — and particularly my stylist, Luis Ojeda. It was my wedding this weekend and the in-home hair stylist I’d booked to do my wedding day hair canceled on me 20 minutes before the appointment. They weren’t able to find a replacement stylist, so I was left without anyone to do my hair and only two hours before our photographer was set to arrive and capture my first look with my (now) husband. When I called Illusions and explained my situation, they went above and beyond to move things around so that I could come in for a bridal hair appointment less than an hour after I called.
