Genuinely this is the best haircut of my life. I booked with Gorkem and I can see why he’s so booked and busy! Never in my life has someone paid so much attention to the details and been so honest with me about what I need. I called my sister right after and she told me she’s never seen my hair look better, so!! I will absolutely be returning.

First, Luis is not a hairstylist. This man is the patron saint of silky hair. I walked in with hair that was giving abandoned bird’s nest; I walked out looking like a person who has her life together. San Luis de Illusions turned my frizz into silky-smooth art. Given how few nanoplastia options there are in the area, I was hesitant to put my hair in the hands of the only person I could find. But Luis absolutely understood the assignment. I’ve been going to Illusions for nearly 10 years and have worked exclusively with Josh Le the entire time. Across well over 100 appointments, I’ve never once been disappointed with the results. Even after moving from DC, I still make the trip to see him, that alone says everything. Illusions offers excellent service at a great price, and I can’t recommend both the salon and Josh highly enough.
